probs putting this in the wrong section but ohwell lol not about VL's this time, but tell me what you think...
My mate asked me to get him a V8 engine for his standard V6 VN, 1991 i think.
It was no problems getting the engine, but he wants someone to put it in for him aswell.
I know pretty well all commys come in V6 or V8, but what parts (if any) wouldi have to change?
I realise the engine will be bigger, so does this mean i have to change the V6 engine mounts too?
And will the V6 gearbox bolt stright onto the V8 and take its power or is an upgrade in mind?

Need to change a fair bit...
Transmission
brakes V8 VN had bigger rotors
Front Springs are different,
Raditor
And i'm sure i've missed a heap of extra parts need

Its a job that won't be done in a weekend you'll get it all going and find little things not working. Have fun champ post some pics when you done.

yeah also need a v8 k-frame, ecu
theres plenty of info on the conversion over the net. just have a squizz
