World Championship rally action comes to New South Wales for the first time this September. The WRC will thunder across the Northern Rivers in the four days from Thursday 3 September to Sunday 6 September, 2009.
This is one of the world’s great motor sport events. This is real, raw, pure motorsport. The drivers, the best in the world - artists at the wheel.
Eat the dust, hear the stones fly, actually see the driver’s hands work and the wide, unblinking eyes of total concentration as the car dances through the bends at 160 kmh and on the razor’s edge of control.
This is World Championship rallying at its best.
35 competitive stages across the Northern Rivers from Kingscliff to Kyogle and beyond make up Repco Rally Australia and we have some truly great viewing spots reserved for you.
The gravel action will be stunning but the real spectator highlight will be when Murwillumbah comes alive for the Super Special tarmac stages on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings right in the middle of downtown. Headlights ablaze, brake rotors glowing, car and drivers on the absolute edge in a 3 car pursuit format that pits the best in the world against the clock and each other.
You wouldn’t want to miss it for the world!
