harlequin vl has had a lot more done to it since this pic was taken, it now has full vl group A body(need to be painted)
it has a full re built motor and
turbo(built by garrett honeywell sydney)
custom intake plemum, (BY DAMO @ DAMO BACK YARD PERFORMANCE LOL)
3 inch mandrel bends exhaust
front mount intercooler
finally a mx7 5 speed manual(hopefully my mrs won't smash this box)
custom injector rail running 5litre injetors(made by damo)

now to the blue one in back ground of second pic (yes it is the one we are wrecking)
bought it for my mrs as stock vl 5 speed,
new gear box tail shaft she went like a dream as a every day car for 3 yrs, never missed a beat the poor girl lol
i'm pretty sure she was once a police car due to having a few little things to identify this such as
cb holders under air vents on outside of dash
batten holders on door
DEFENTLY DID NOT RUN LIKE A STOCK VL although i have never had the proof she is still a very solid engine and box, drove like a dream went like a shower of shit my mrs's quote" she used to flog brand new 5 litres she weren't no stock vl guys.!!!"""

Take a look on the compliance plate on the blue VL,if it was a police car it may have BT1 stamped on it.

to be honest in the three yrs we have owned the car we've never even thought to check that.
its parked at mother in laws place and has been since the day she was killed(ridden off) lol
