damo vlt 04-06-2010, 09:50 AM hello to all after so long ive got some bad new but then some good news(better if someone can help me work out what it is)
the wife's blue vl got riden off, so she bought a *genuine*(my butt) calais wagon dropped my turbo motor in it sold it for 6000 bought the family a VQ SERIES 2 statesman(mmm very nice ride)
then on ebay last month she seen a vl wagon in the local area, we called went and had a look at it this is what we seen
vl jan 88build wagon
lv2 v8 gu4 drivline
m40 3 speed auto
maroon in colour
all power options i mean all in this wagon not like the calais which had no power options.
ive done as much research as i can
there were a couple sv88 made, then there were the sl calais wagon
un marked brock wagon
sl berlina with power options
WHAT HAVE I GOT GUYS IT REALLY STUMPED ME!

My-88-Vl 04-09-2010, 09:10 AM HDT did sell a very limited number VL Calais wagons, most were maroon. The LV2 engine designation was given to the VK group A engine.
The only unbadged Brock was the VL Nitron sedan, ordered from HDT by a group of Victorian Holden dealers. It had 15" aero wheels,LE front lip, grille and rear wing,Momo steering wheel and a Polariser.
My-88-Vl 04-09-2010, 11:10 AM Just some additional research from the official HDT website...."The Calais wagon was not officially released by Holden until 1988,but HDT had produced a number of Berlina wagons and given them the Calais treatment long before then. However unless a minimum number of modifications were carried out,the cars were not allocated a build plate.
HDT also made a number of Sport wagons. Many of the non plated HDT wagons had no body modifications at all and looked no different to the Holden version".
